A spokesman for the Los Angeles, California, Police Department told CNN that police were called just before 7 p.m. (9 p.m. ET) Saturday night after Emma Rose was found unresponsive by boyfriend Aramis Knight who was visiting young Emma on set and fellow co-star Cameron Monaghan in her trailer on the set of ‘Shameless’ and said that first responders “rendered medical aid but they were unable to save her.”
“After speaking with people on scene, (police) said that there was no certain cause of death, most likely from past health issues,” Sgt. Terry Carter told CNN in a phone interview.

Police are currently interviewing co-stars William H Macy, Shanola Hampton, Cameron Monaghan, Noel Fisher, and Ethan Cutcosky who were also on the set to film today.
